The Tri-Valley Anti-Poverty Collaborative (TVAPC) is a cross-sector collaboration that was launched by Kaiser Permanente, Hacienda and others in 2013 to address the topic of hidden suburban poverty. The primary driver of economic need in the Bay Area is the high cost of living, particularly housing. The TVAPC promotes increased equity in the Tri-Valley community by sharing information, creating connections, and providing education. In 2021, the TVAPC merged with the Tri-Valley NonProfit Alliance and continues to host quarterly meetings regarding topics of interest to the participants as well as other events.
