The Rotary Club of Pleasanton invites you to join them at their 28th Annual Halloween Spirit Run. Proceeds from this year's event support scholarships for Pleasanton students as well as community and projects of The Rotary Club of Pleasanton. 100% of donations and sponsorship dollars raised for this event go back to the community. Prior year grant recipients include Hively, Open Heart Kitchen, Sunflower Hill, Agape Villages, Hope Hospice, the Valley Humane Society and more.

The Course

This year, the Spirit Run is being held on Halloween, Sunday, October 31, 2021, and starts and ends at the fairgrounds in Pleasanton during the final day of the Alameda County Fair. The race will include 5K and 10K markers, and also a "Kids Challenge" with distances depending on the age bracket: 25 yards for 4 and under, 50 yards for ages 5-6, and 75 yards for ages 7-9. Participants are encouraged to run in costume!

Registration

Online registration is available at runsignup.com/Race/CA/Pleasanton/PleasantonSpiritRun, and is $45 for participants in the 5K and 10K run and walk events and $12 for the Kids Challenge. Prices will increase slightly after October 30th. Pre-race packet pick-up will be held at Fleet Feet in Pleasanton, 234 Main Street, on Saturday, October 30, 2021 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. Participants may also pick up their bib and t-shirt on the morning of the race at the Alameda County Fairgrounds near the start/finish line starting at 7:00 am and continuing through 8:20 am, and through 9:45 am for Kids Challenge entrants.
