The Pleasanton Partnerships in Education Foundation (PPIE) invites you to join them for the 2022 Pleasanton Run for Education. This signature community event is a great way to join with 3,000 fellow walkers and runners to raise funds that help support Pleasanton schools! PPIE is a non-profit foundation dedicated to supporting Pleasanton public schools. For over 25 years, PPIE has worked to enhance education throughout the Pleasanton Unified School District through a partnership of business, education and community. PPIE raises funds to support critical programs and to fund projects enhancing educational excellence for all students.

Run for Pleasanton Schools

This year's Run for Education race is being held on Sunday, April 24, 2022, and both starts and finishes at the Alameda County Fairgrounds. A number of race options are available with a route for everyone! Races include a 5K course (3.1 miles), 10K course (6.2 miles), 15K course (9.3 miles), and Kids Challenge.

Race Descriptions

The 15K event starts at 7:50 am and consists of a fast and flat course over streets and paved trails. The 10K event starts at 7:50 am and consists of a fast and flat course on the Marilyn Kane Trail as well as streets and trails in Pleasanton. The 5K event starts at 8:00 am and offers a family-friendly race from the Alameda County Fairgrounds through downtown Pleasanton. The Kids Challenge starts at 9:15 am and features a 0.5K course (0.25 miles). Details on race events may be found under the Race Information heading at: ppierun.com.

Run Registration

Complete course information, entrance fees and registration is available online. Race entry fees range from $17 - $50. Registration information and forms can be found at: runsignup.com/Race/CA/Pleasanton/PPIERun. PPIE will receive 100% of the proceeds raised at this event.
