The Caledonian Club of San Francisco will hold its 157th Annual Scottish Highland Gathering and Games over the Labor Day weekend in Pleasanton. These Annual Scottish Highland Gathering and Games are among the largest in North America and feature the 2023 Womens World and the US Mens and Womens Heavy Athletics Championships, as well as Highland Dancing, Piping and Drumming, and Soccer competitions, and a fun Kilted Mile race.
The 157th Annual Scottish Highland Gathering and Games will be held Labor Day weekend, September 2 and September 3, 2023. Once again, the games will be hosted at the Alameda County Fairgrounds located at 4501 Pleasanton Ave in Pleasanton. Opening and Closing ceremonies will be conducted in front of the main grandstand on both days.
Join this celebration of Scottish culture, cuisine, competition and entertainment at its very best. Festivities include music, sporting events, Highland dancing, living history re-enactments, birds of prey demonstrations, sheep dog trials, gathering of the clans, heavy event competitions, ethnic Scottish/British and American food and much more. Be sure to catch the highly anticipated pipe band and drumming competitions.

Please note that tickets for some events such as the Whisky Tasting are sold separately and do not include the price of entry into the games. Ticket prices range from $20 - $35 and can only be purchased online. Parking is sold separately. Children under 11 years of age, and Active Military (with ID) will receive complimentary admissions.
