Join Kaiser Permanente in cooperation with the City of Pleasanton and Startup Tri-Valley for the 2024 Tri-Valley Life Sciences Summit. The Tri-Valley Life Sciences Summit is designed to highlight work in the local life sciences sector, give busy professionals actionable information they can incorporate into their work immediately, and to provide great opportunities for participants to connect with peers.

Event Details

The 2024 Tri-Valley Life Sciences Summit will be held on October 23, 2024 from 4:30 – 7:30 pm at the Rosewood Commons Conference Center, 4400 Rosewood Drive, Pleasanton. This event is designed to relay information, inspire, and create networking opportunities for all participants, and has been structured to provide high-value content for early-stage startups as well as high-growth, later-stage companies. Be on hand to interact with scientists, technologists, investors and business professionals working in industries that include or intersect with life sciences who are entrepreneurs or have entrepreneurial ambitions. This event brings together professionals from across the life sciences and healthcare sectors.

Program Highlights

The program begins with a networking reception so attendees can mingle, meet colleagues, and make new connections followed by welcoming remarks from the host, Pleasanton Mayor Karla Brown and Kaiser Permanente, and a “State of Tri-Valley Life Sciences” update from Yolanda Fintschenko, PhD, Executive Director of i-GATE Innovation Hub and Startup Tri-Valley. Attendees will then hear from Neil Ray, MD, founder and CEO of Raydiant Oximetry, in a keynote fireside chat moderated by Genevieve LeMarchal, managing partner of Suncoast Ventures. The event will also feature a panel of life sciences entrepreneurs and leaders from the thriving diagnostics industry, as well as Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Confirmed speakers include prominent Tri-Valley and Bay Area life sciences entrepreneurs and ecosystem leaders featuring Reem Mahrat, advisor at Daybreak Labs, and founder and CEO of Pleasanton startups RamanID and EGE; Nan Su, CEO of Aopia Biosciences; and Yash Vaishnav, business development executive at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. This discussion will be led by Paco Cifuentes, VP of Commercial Development at General Inception, and will provide valuable insights into the region’s thriving life sciences ecosystem.
