Hacienda Helping Hands, Hacienda's community initiative, invites you to participate in our annual community support campaign with your fellow Hacienda owners, investors, businesses and other affiliates in our efforts to address critical needs in the Tri-Valley. This year, we are again issuing a special challenge to you to support two important community organizations: the Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance and the Three Valleys Community Foundation. While the Tri-Valley enjoys a tremendous level of prosperity, the region has witnessed an unprecedented demand on local organizations that perform invaluable services for those in need. Our Hacienda Helping Hands campaign is asking you to offer a "hand" in support of both of these efforts that are central to the fabric of the community.
This year, Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance (TVNPA) is celebrating it's ten year anniversary and the many successes it has enjoyed over the last decade supporting the Tri-Valley community. Their crucial work helps strengthen a variety of community based organizations so that they, in turn, can fulfill their individual missions. Through trainings, collaboration and granting, TVNPA has made dozens of local organizations stronger and better able to perform their work. TVNPA is also the home of the Tri-Valley Anti-poverty Collaborative; a special initiative designed to create collaboration between organizations dedicated to serving those in need and the community at large to address poverty in the region. In celebration of TVNPA’s 10th anniversary, TVNPA is partnering with Community Health & Education Foundation (CHEF) for the “Together We Rise” matching campaign! From November 1 to December 31, your gift will be matched by 50% – turning $10 into $15, up to a total of $50,000! We ask you to consider a contribution to this campaign to support TVNPA so that they can continue their programs helping worthy local organizations working in the community. Donations are tax deductible. To learn more and donate, go directly to: chefgivingcommunity.org/Together/.
Three Valleys Community Foundation (3VCF), our region’s local community foundation, has many opportunities for corporate engagement that support community causes and local needs. As part of their Power of Collaboration Corporate Challenge program, 3VCF will set aside 50 percent of every gift to address some of the most compelling and complex issues in the area. In 2023, the focus area was mental health and wellness. In 2024, 3VCF is continuing the campaign's focus on mental health and overall wellness, as well as distributing funds to nonprofits working on health equity and access and causes related to the environment and sustainability. 3VCF also offers the ability for both corporations and individuals to create Donor Advised Funds (DAFs) for personal and targeted charitable giving. DAFs allow for immediate tax deductions - with the ability to then re-designate the funds to specific nonprofit organizations and causes of interest to the donor. To learn more, please visit: 3vcf.org.
The work of the Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance and Three Valleys Community Foundation aligns well with the mission of Hacienda Helping Hands to support six key philanthropic areas: youth development and education, family strengthening, senior assistance, access to healthcare and healthy living, affordable housing and solutions to homelessness, and arts and culture. Contributing to these organizations covers all of these philanthropic areas and more. You can also provide important support by following the work of these organizations and letting others in your networks know about their initiatives and accomplishments.
