The East Bay Leadership Council (EBLC) invites you to the Threads of Hope awards ceremony. EBLC and Diablo Magazine are collaborating on a special celebration experienced through stories of great works and great generosity at Threads of Hope. The mission of the East Bay Leadership Council is to provide advocacy on public policy issues affecting the economic vitality and quality of life in the Greater East Bay region.

Upcoming Presentations

Everyone is invited to join on Thursday, December 12th from 4:30 - 7:00 PM at the Lesher Center for the Arts, 1601 Civic Drive in Walnut Creek, to recognize community volunteers and philanthropists in the East Bay. The annual Threads of Hope awards celebrates individuals who make the East Bay community a better place through volunteerism and philanthropy. Threads of Hope recognizes community heroes and is celebrating the 30th anniversary of this empowering event. This year's honorees have been nominated for demonstrating one or more of the following values in their philanthropic endeavors: Equity, Resilience, Creativity, Compassion, Risk-taking and Sustained Commitment. Join in to honor: Alain Dangerfield, Diablo Black Men's Group; Camarin Madigan, Contra Costa Senior Legal Services; James Noe, St. Vincent de Paul of Contra Costa County; Lisa Henderson, Set to Thrive; and Marti Sutton, Philanthropist.
