TRI-VALLEY ANTI-POVERTY COLLABORATIVE: MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS

Join Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance's Anti-Poverty Collaborative for a Mental Health Forum "Mental Health Matters". This is a vital community event focused on critical mental health issues in the Tri-Valley region. Established in 2014, the Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance (TVNPA) serves community organizations throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. TVNPA offers regular opportunities to meet and collaborate with peers to enhance and grow the skills and talents of the dedicated people who work and volunteer in the nonprofit sector. TVNPA is also the creator of the Tri-Valley Fund; which provides support to nonprofit organizations in the region through quarterly granting.

Mental Health Matters

Everyone in the Tri-Valley community is invited to attend this free event on Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm at the Rosewood Commons Conference Center, 4400 Rosewood Drive, in Pleasanton. Doors open at 8:30 am for registration check-in and the program begins at 9:00 am. The Mental Health Matters forum discussion will address critical mental health challenges affecting the Tri-Valley community and will also explore the intersection of mental health and poverty.

Event Details

Attendees will learn about the importance of mental health through featured leading experts in mental health. Presentations will be followed by a nonprofit panel discussion with local organizations addressing mental health services for children, seniors, veterans, and more. Panelists will include local mental health organizations: Axis Community Health, Mental Health Connections, Pleasanton ARU, and La Familia, covering vital topics such as services for children, seniors, veterans, and those affected by substance use and the criminal justice system.
