The East Bay Leadership Council is a public policy advocacy organization on a mission to increase economic vitality and improve the quality of life in the East Bay.

East Bay Leadership Series

Each year, the East Bay Leadership Council brings together a series of events designed to highlight topical and relevant issues to the community featuring top speakers. The series offers participants a unique opportunity to engage on key issues with leaders and subject matter experts. The 2021 series is no different as you will see from the following line-up!

A Conversation with Van Jones     The series begins with the 35th Annual East Bay USA featuring a live online event with Van Jones to discuss how our country can overcome divisiveness, heal political wounds, and address a dangerously unequal public health and economic crises here in California and across the country. The virtual event will take place on Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 12:00 - 1:30 pm.

Women in the Workplace with Alex Krivkovic     The second in the Leadership Series in March, the latest Women in the Workplace study will be discussed, with Alexis Krivkovich, Managing Partner of McKinsey’s San Francisco office. The research, based on data from thousands of companies, highlights strategies for retaining and growing top talent by addressing challenges that face women, in particular, which have only grown more pronounced in 2020. Leading Successful Equity Initiatives with Mark Gould     Join the East Bay Leadership Council to hear from the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco's Chief Operating Officer, Mark Gould, about how employers can lead successful equity initiatives and create better, more human organizations coming out of COVID The final event in the series will take place on Thursday, April 15, 2021 from 12:00 - 1:30 pm.
