Pacific Chamber Orchestra, now in its 34th season, is a regional professional ensemble dedicated to sustaining and extending the rich heritage of classical music for a chamber orchestra of 8 to 42 musicians through inspiring performances and engaging educational programs. The musicians of PCO, under the direction of founding Music Director Lawrence Kohl, have performed in the San Francisco Symphony, Opera, Ballet, Theater Orchestras, and at Skywalker Sound Studios, in addition to being accomplished recording artists, touring internationally in chamber music groups and making guest appearances as concert soloists. PCO performs four sets of themed concerts each season, programs which are presented at the Bankhead Theater in Livermore on Sundays at 3:00 pm and at St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Orinda on Saturday evenings at 7:30 pm. The Pacific Chamber Orchestra welcomes Tri-Valley audiences to experience an exquisite concert experience due to the artistry of the conductor and musicians, the impressive repertoire and versatility of the chamber orchestra, performed in intimate and conveniently located venues.
