The San Francisco Bay Area's Annual Bike to Wherever Day is coming! Join Hacienda, a Silver Sponsor of Bike to Wherever Day in the East Bay, in this premier bicycling event taking place throughout Northern California occurring in all nine Bay Area counties. Now more than ever, new riders are exploring the East Bay by bike!
Bike to Wherever Day is Thursday, May 15th. Hacienda, along with the cities of Pleasanton and Dublin, Alameda County Transportation Commission, and Hacienda tenant Veeva, will again be hosting an Energizer Station at the East Dublin/Pleasanton BART station just outside the turnstiles. Come visit between 7:00 and 9:00 am on Bike to Wherever Day for some great recognition for cyclists! Ride on by to pick up a limited-edition collectible bag and 2025 Bike to Wherever Day t-shirt. Let others know you plan to bike to work and encourage them to join by pledging to celebrate and ride at: www.bikeeastbay.org/btwd/. When you pledge to ride, you show everyone that bikes count.
This award is given to one individual in each of the nine Bay Area counties for their commitment to bicycling. One Champion is chosen from each Bay Area county through Bike East Bay voting. You are welcome to nominate a cyclist worthy of celebration. Visit www.bayareabiketowork.com/event-information/bike-champion-of-the-year through March 31st to nominate a Bike Champion of the Year. The winners from Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano and Sonoma will be announced at the end of April in time for Bay Area Bike Month.
