AST Offers Flexible, Sophisticated Point-of-Sale Solutions

One existing AST customer, for example, was struggling with staff shortages recently. “He has a sprawling space and was unable to get manpower to serve his clients,” notes Kumar. “He had two options, either to close the business due to hired-help issues or find a solution that would save his business. We offered him a Self-Ordering Kiosk for the diners and robots to deliver the food orders to their tables. This solved his major problem, and he is again a happy customer of ours.”

In 1994, Hamdey Altayyeb opened his business, My Pizza, in Morgan Hill, California. The AST system used by the business allows him to keep track of all pizza deliveries. That includes where drivers are going, which driver is making which delivery, how long a delivery is taking, and how much cash to collect from each driver because the system does all the math.

“As your operation changes over the years, they can actually work with you and update it to kind of customize it to your liking and your business,'' says Altayyeb. “It really helps us with payroll and to be more efficient in training employees. The loyalty system is very user friendly.”

AST was founded in 2004. It moved its headquarters to Hacienda in December 2014. Over the years it has developed a customer base throughout the greater Bay Area and California by focusing on excellent service, according to officials. “We strive to grow and learn from each of our clients,” says Kumar. “We listen to them and implement the solutions they need.
