In May, financial services firm Edward Jones appeared on the Fortune 500 list, which ranks the largest U.S. companies by revenue, for the 10th consecutive year. Edward Jones was ranked at number 303, with more than $12.3 billion in net revenue in 2021, an increase of 22% over 2020.
"We recognize the incredible sense of responsibility we have as a Fortune 500 firm with branch presence in sixty-eight percent of the counties in America," says Edward Jones Managing Partner Penny Pennington. "Our differentiation is not in being large, but being hyperlocal with the privilege of having trusted, personal relationships with our clients and their families and making a difference in our communities. That human-centered approach is what has set Edward Jones apart for one hundred years and what drives our nearly nineteen thousand financial advisors and branch teams every day."
Earlier in the year, Edward Jones earned a spot on the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For ranking by Great Place to Work and Fortune magazine. Over the years, Edward Jones has appeared 23 times on the list. It was ranked number 35 this year. The Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For award is based on responses from more than 4.5 million U.S. employees working at Great Place to Work-Certified organizations. Edward Jones also was named to Fortune magazine's 2022 list of the World's Most Admired Companies this year. In 2021, the firm was ranked as a Best Workplace in the Financial Services and Insurance Industry.
