Hyland is a leading content services provider that enables thousands of organizations to deliver better experiences to the people they serve. The company has been recognized by Gartner as a leader in the industry for 12 straight years. In October, the company announced it has reached the 100-certification milestone with Amazon Web Services (AWS), an indication of Hyland’s AWS expertise. The 100-certification mark is the latest milestone in Hyland’s commitment to AWS.
“This certification milestone allows us to differentiate ourselves to our customers and assure them that Hyland has the expertise to design, deploy, and operate applications and infrastructure on AWS,” says Matt Beyer, Hyland’s AWS alliance lead. “Our rapid certification growth demonstrates our commitment to deepening our work with AWS.”
Earlier this year, Hyland announced it would deploy new OnBase and Brainware customers on AWS to support the increased cloud deployment and migration needs from its customer base. In April, Hyland also listed Alfresco Digital Business Platform in AWS Marketplace, using AWS to further power Hyland’s content services and intelligent automation products in the Hyland Cloud.
Early in 2022, Hyland strategically scaled its efforts to validate its Cloud team’s technical expertise, and in turn received an AWS Partner Network Certification Distinction. The certification process includes individual employee assessments in the form of classroom or digital training courses and ultimately requires passing an exam. The employees obtained multiple AWS certifications including AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Developer – Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional.
Hyland has taken several other steps to further its work with AWS over the last two years. They include expanding the cloud infrastructure footprint of the Hyland Cloud, deploying OnBase, Alfresco Platform as a Service and Nuxeo Cloud customers on AWS Regions as the primary preference of infrastructure, and listing OnBase and Alfresco Digital Business Platform in AWS Marketplace.
According to company officials, the strengthened relationship with AWS delivers an expansive infrastructure footprint for the Hyland Cloud, allowing Hyland to meet customer requirements with agility and scale, while providing a more flexible architecture that supports customers’ evolving information technology and business challenges. Backed by innovative technologies, security-driven policies and dedicated support from knowledgeable technology experts, customers deploying Hyland’s software-as-a-service and platform-as-a-service offerings on AWS benefit from its continued focus on cloud innovation and support for next-generation cloud solutions.
“Our work with AWS gives customers and prospects greater confidence and agility when deploying their cloud content services solutions, which are optimized for their unique needs and requirements,” says Will Milewski, Senior Vice President for Cloud Infrastructure and Operations at Hyland. “With organizations continuing to evolve their business strategies to support remote work, cloud-based solutions are becoming the default and our relationship with AWS will ensure we’re exceeding our customers’ requirements from their content services platform.”
The company has 19,000 lifetime customers, more than 4,000 employees, and 30 office locations worldwide. Hyland became a tenant at Hacienda in January 2011.
