PLEASANTON, Calif. — The San Francisco Bay Area's Annual Bike to Work is coming! Join Hacienda, a Silver Sponsor of Bike to Work Day in the East Bay, in this premier bicycling event taking place throughout Northern California occurring in all nine Bay Area counties. Now more than ever, new riders are exploring the East Bay by bike!
On May 18, 2023, Energizer Stations will be set up all over the Bay Area to celebrate Bike to Work Day. Hacienda is again hosting an Energizer Station at the East Dublin/Pleasanton BART station in conjunction with the City of Pleasanton, the City of Dublin and Veeva Systems. Cyclists who stop by the East Dublin/Pleasanton Energizer Station will receive a canvas tote bag filled with great cycling gear/give-aways/snacks, and much more! The Energizer Station will be open between 7:00 - 9:00 am in the plaza area just outside the turnstiles. The East Dublin/Pleasanton BART station sits in the middle of Interstate 580 and is easily accessed by Owens Drive from Pleasanton and by Dublin Boulevard from Dublin.
Bike to Work Day is a great day to be on your bike! Pledge to ride and get your map of contact-free Energizer Stations for the big day, digital goody bag, and self-guided rides to celebrate. Let others know you plan to bike to work and encourage them to join by pledging to celebrate and ride at: www.bikeeastbay.org/events/bike-work-day-2023. When you pledge to ride, you show everyone that bikes count.
A Bike Champion of the Year has been chosen from each Bay Area county. The winners from Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano and Sonoma were recently posted and announced through a special media release. Details are available at: www.bayareabiketowork.com/event-information/bike-champions-of-the-year-2023.
