SF Property Investment, LLC, has acquired Stoneridge Business Center. The Portland-based company also owns the 450 Sutter Building in San Francisco, as well as other properties in seven states. The group recently sold the Claremont Hotel in Berkeley, which it had owned since 1954.
Computer Networks, Inc.
Computer Networks, Inc., has again been named one of the fastest growing companies in the country by Inc. magazine. Coming in at number 470, this marks the second consecutive year that the systems integrator has been named to the prestigious Inc. 500. Computer Networks, Inc., specializes in remote access, branch office, and server-based computing solutions.
Vanstar Corporation
Vanstar Corporation has agreed to merge with a wholly-owned subsidiary of Inacom Corporation. Combined, the two companies currently employ over 12,000, with annual revenues of $7 billion.
Remedy Corp., Lucent Technologies
Remedy Corp. has agreed to create a worldwide customer support system with Lucent Technologies. Lucent plans to use the Remedy Action Request System to help provide technical support in 60 countries for network products such as central office equipment and wireless phone equipment.
Resolute Software
Resolute Software has signed an agreement with Netscape Communications to provide application performance management and capacity planning for the Netscape Netcenter portal site with version 2.4 of RAPS, the Resolute Application Performance System.
