  • Wal*Mart

    Wal*Mart is on pace to become the largest company in the world and dethrone Exxon Mobil Corp. as the top company in the Fortune 500. With projected worldwide sales of over $220 billion, the 4,150-store global retailer will generate enough revenue in this, its fortieth year, to take the top spot. The retail giant has ranked second on the list the past two years.

  • Commerce One

    Commerce One has released Commerce One 5.0,a new suite of collaborative sourcing and procurement solutions built on Commerce One's unique collaborative platform. Commerce One 5.0 provides full automation of enterprise source-to-pay processes, enables deep connections between an organization and its trading partners, and provides a low cost of entry. The suite allows customers to focus on key areas such as procurement, sourcing, and auctions, which allows for fast return on investment. Customers can then continue to build and expand their e-commerce capabilities over time.

  • PeopleSoft

    PeopleSoft has partnered with Hewlett-Packard to expand PeopleSoft eCenter, its hosting service. The expansion will give businesses outside of North America access to PeopleSoft eCenter applications. Hewlett-Packard will provide the technical operations, infrastructure, and services needed to extend PeopleSoft eCenter globally.

  • Hacienda Companies Recognized by East Bay Business Times

    A number of Hacienda companies were recognized on the East Bay Business Times' recent list of the area's largest commercial real estate companies. Cornish & Carey Commercial was number four on the list, followed by Prudential California Realty at five, and Lee & Associates - East Bay at nine. The companies were ranked by the number of East Bay commercial agents.

  • ValleyCare Health System

    ValleyCare Health System's Diagnostic Imaging Department has been awarded a three-year accreditation in breast ultrasound and ultrasound-guided breast biopsy as a result of a recent survey by the American College of Radiology (ACR). The accreditation applies to breast ultrasound services available at both Valley Memorial in Livermore and ValleyCare Medical Center in Pleasanton.

    Dennis Marlow, director of Diagnostic Imaging at ValleyCare, notes that the ACR accreditation requires that personnel who perform the procedure be certified. "This means that patients can be assured they are receiving the highest standard of care at our facilities."
