  • Tanner Companies LLC

    Tanner Environmental, a division of Hacienda's Tanner Companies LLC, has announced a strategic alliance with Environmental Risk Solutions, Inc., and Environmental Financial Solutions LLC which will offer clients a unique combination of risk management, financial, and insurance expertise for environmental issues. The firms' combined expertise will allow them to offer services in environmental liability identification and assessment, insurance, risk and financial modeling, and environmental claim management and consulting.

  • U.S. Bank

    U.S. Bank has opened the first round of a planned 163 branches to be built in Safeway and Vons stores in California, Nevada and Arizona with six branches in Safeway stores in Northern California. The Safeway/Vons expansion is the largest ever for U.S. Bank in-stores, which ranks as the third-largest in-store banking network in the country. "U.S. Bank has a long history in northern California and has recently targeted the region for even greater growth, namely through our partnership with Safeway, Inc.," said Rob Brown, regional manager for U.S. Bank in-stores in California. "Our in-store branches are one of the crown jewels for U.S. Bank and we're proud to offer customers full-service banking that they would receive at any traditional branch location, along with convenient hours, convenient locations and Five Star guaranteed service."

  • Verizon Wireless

    Verizon Wireless, the nation's largest wireless service provider, and Vodafone, the world's largest mobile community, have agreed to develop exclusive games and content for their customers. This agreement will bring games developed by companies including Konami to Verizon and Vodafone customers. "This effort, which dovetails the recent agreement between Verizon Wireless and Vodafone to collaborate on data services that customers will be able to use in the U.S. and in Europe, signifies our pursuit to work together in the consumer marketplace and on the business-to-business front," said Jim Straight, vice president of data and multimedia services for Verizon Wireless. "Games are exploding in our Get It Now virtual store and are a clear growth area for us."

  • Cingular Wireless

    Cingular Wireless and Nextel Communications have agreed to a formal process for moving a customer's phone number from one to the other when the Federal Communication Commission's Wireless Local Number Portability mandate becomes effective on November 24, 2003. The completion of the Service Level Agreement demonstrates that both Cingular and Nextel are committed to making the porting process a positive experience and have worked cooperatively to agree on standards that are in the best interests of their customers, according to representatives from both enterprises.
