  • Polycom

    Polycom has acquired DSTMedia Technology Company, Ltd., a privately held video solutions company headquartered in Beijing, China. Founded in 2001 by an engineering team from Tsinghua University, DSTMedia is a leading provider of video network solutions for the Asia market. DSTMedia has also recently launched low cost video room systems, desktop products, and video walls which utilize Internet Protocol (IP) for the China, India, Japan, and Southeast Asia markets. The company has 90 employees, primarily in research, development, sales and support, who will join Polycom. Its products will be distributed worldwide under the DST brand.

  • ZANTAZ

    ZANTAZ has added nine new partners to its newly expanded worldwide ZANTAZ EAS Channel Partner Program. The program is targeted at resellers across the globe specifically focused on adding value and enhanced service to their client base through scalable email archiving and management solutions that optimize storage systems and manage information-related risk. "We are serious about quickly expanding the ZANTAZ EAS Channel Partner Program and continue to offer the incentives that make partnering with ZANTAZ attractive to resellers," said Ken Edoff, the company's vice president of Channel Marketing. "Our market-leading product, highly competitive pricing model and responsive support services ensure a win-win for both the resellers as well as their customers who gain access to a comprehensive email archiving solution available worldwide." The company's new partners include companies in China, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Australia, the U.S., and Europe.

  • CPU Tech

    CPU Tech has received formal Safety of Flight Certification from the U.S. Air Force and has entered formal flight testing for its Modernized F-16 AN/APG-68 Programmable Signal Radar Processor (MPSP) development program. The formal flight test will be the final verification of full integration and production worthiness for the U.S. Air Force and other potential customers for modernized AN/APG-68 RADAR processing systems. "Our modernization and integration efforts eliminated nearly 90 percent of the original system components, offering much higher reliability, while providing the additional performance and security needed for future feature enhancement. Once in production, we project that the new version could save the Air Force more than $100 million in future operation and maintenance costs," says Edward King, chairman and CEO of CPU Tech.

  • Visioneer

    Hacienda's Visioneer, manufacturer of the Xerox DocuMate 272 scanner, reports that the product has been certified by Hyland Software for use with the company's OnBase enterprise content management (ECM) software suite. "As a provider of enterprise content management software to the Healthcare industry, we think that OnBase and the DocuMate 272 present a very effective imaging and document management solution, especially for healthcare vertical applications that the DocuMate 272 has been specifically designed to address," says Ray Gerwig, imaging product manager at Hyland Software.
