AgreeYa Solutions, an international vertical-market software and services company founded in 1999, recently expanded to offices at 4430 Willow Road in Hacienda. It is the third Northern California location for the Folsom-based enterprise, joining a roster that includes a domestic office in New Jersey as well as facilities in Vancouver, Mexico City, Lodz, Beijing, Seoul, Singapore, and three locations in India. In total, the company employs over 1,300 people.
"It is strategically important for us to have a location in the Tri-Valley," says Ajay Kaul, managing partner for AgreeYa. "The Hacienda location provides access to a key pool of potential employees and it provides many advantages to our customers."
In addition to systems integration, custom application development, independent software testing, and staffing services, the company produces a number of software solutions that are currently used in industries as diverse as telecommunications; banking, financial services, and insurance; healthcare; high tech; manufacturing; utilities; and government, with clients including Deloitte, Verizon, Vodafone, Samsung, LG Electronics, Hewlett-Packard, JP Morgan Chase, the California Air Resources Board, Tesla, and Mitsubishi Motors.
Among AgreeYa's most popular products is SocialXtend, an enterprise intranet platform based on Microsoft's popular SharePoint. SocialXTend improves collaboration and increases organizational effectiveness by providing a unified foundation for communication, with a goal of driving engagement from employees, partners, and customers.
Another popular AgreeYa product is VDIXtend, a hosted virtual desktop solution which allows easy creation of virtual desktops as well as customization with cloud-based applications such as Microsoft Office, Skype, QuickBooks and Photoshop. For end users, VDIXtend can be accessed from any computer or tablet, making it ideal for Bring Your Own Computer situations.
"We've seen the enterprise market move increasingly to cloud-based solutions, thanks to advantages in efficiency, cost, and data security," says Kaul. "We made a decision several years ago to embrace the cloud, and the success we're having today is a reflection of that choice."
Edvelop is AgreeYa's entry into the field of learning management systems. This cloud-based LMS connects all the digital tools and resources teachers use into one simple learning and communication platform for the enterprise and education sectors. Teachers can share content, use remote classrooms for virtual learning, and track assignments and test workflows, among other things. Students can participate both online and in class, enjoy self-paced differentiated learning, and have greater control over their learning experience.
"Edvelop enables teachers and students with countless tools to make teaching and learning easier and more fun," says Kaul.
AgreeYa also offers a specialized end-to-end case management solution for collections agencies and law firms called Cogent Collection & Case Management. The software simplifies the management of intricate collection and legal processes without the need for custom programming.
"At the heart of the Cogent solution is a powerful Rules Engine that enables you to maintain multiple custom workflows made up of user-defined intelligent tasks, and consistently enforce these rules on specific segments of your claim inventory," says Kaul.
