Between New Developments, Renovation, and Leases, 2015 was a Busy Year in Hacienda

With widespread development, property renovation, and major new tenant leases, 2015 was, by any measure, an extremely busy year in Hacienda. Roche Molecular Systems began work on a three-story, 70,700 square foot building on its existing Hacienda campus, a project that will bring the total size of the company's space in the park to nearly 380,000 square feet. The park also saw progress on three major residential projects in addition to the completion of Anton Hacienda, a 168-unit luxury rental complex on West Las Positas Boulevard.

Another Hacienda trend saw several companies purchase existing properties and improve them, including a new parking structure at the John Muir Health/Tenet Healthcare property at 5860 Owens Drive as well as interior and exterior upgrades at the Veeva Systems headquarters at 4280 Hacienda Drive, Rosewood Commons at 4410-4460 Rosewood Drive and Axis Community Health at 5925 W. Las Positas Boulevard.

A number of sizeable leases were signed in 2015 as well, including moves by Gap Inc., SmartZip, and Acosta.
